The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) announces the following scheduled closures for guardrail repair operations in Madera County this week.

The following will occur Wednesday, July 22nd from 10:30pm to Thursday, July 23rd 3:30am:

• Maintenance personnel will be performing guardrail repairs along northbound State Route 41 between Avenue ½ to just south of Avenue 11.
• Motorists travelling along northbound State Route 41 will be diverted around the closure limits utilizing the #1 lane along southbound State Route 41.
o Motorists traveling along southbound State Route 41 will utilize the #2 lane within the vicinity of the closure limits.
Closures may continue for longer periods of time each day, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur during maintenance. These scheduled closures will occur, weather permitting.

Caltrans Maintenance workers remind you to drive with extra care and allow additional travel time while travelling in the maintenance area. Please be alert for Road Maintenance Personnel and “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
