Community Invited to an Evening of Music, Food, and Patriotism at Queen’s Inn
OAKHURST, Calif. — Community members from throughout Madera County are invited to come together for an evening of celebration, live entertainment, and hometown spirit as Melanie Barker for Supervisor 2026 hosts a special event honoring America’s 250th Birthday on Saturday, July 18, at Queen’s Inn by the River | Wine Bar & Beer Garden in Oakhurst.
The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. and will feature live music from local favorite What Comes Next, performing classic hits from across the decades. Guests can enjoy delicious food from Tater Jo’s Food Truck, participate in a lively Dessert Dash, and spend the evening celebrating the values that have united our nation for 250 years.
“This is more than a campaign event—it’s an opportunity to celebrate our country, our freedoms, and the incredible communities that make Madera County such a special place to call home,” says Mel Barker. “I look forward to visiting with friends, neighbors, and families while we enjoy a fun summer evening together.”
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and relax under the summer sky while enjoying live music, great food, and fellowship. Golf cart shuttle service will be available to assist guests from parking areas to the venue.
Admission is $15 per person, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the Melanie Barker for Supervisor 2026 campaign.
