Candidates should visit www.votemadera.com and click the “Schedule Candidate Filing Appointment” button at the top of the homepage to schedule an appointment. Appointments are required. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Candidates for city offices are required to obtain nomination signatures from registered voters as part of their qualification to run for office. For additional information, contact the Elections Division.
Pursuant to Elections Code Section 10515, if there is an insufficient number of nominees, the supervising authority shall make appointments.
