FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A driver who told police he was tired after just leaving work rolled his car onto its roof in a Fresno crash Thursday afternoon, according to the Fresno Police Department.

The incident took place at around 3:30 p.m. in the area of Gateway Boulevard and McKinley Avenue.

Officers say the driver possibly fell asleep and hit a pole, causing the car to crash and roll onto its roof.

The driver, who was not officially identified, was the only person in the vehicle and was not hurt in the incident. No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
