The Bootjack fire company is located alongside Highway 49 S in the Bootjack community. They provide primary coverage to Bootjack, Woodland and Bronco Hollow areas. Secondary coverage is provided to Mormon Bar, Bridgeport, Lushmeadows, Ponderosa Basin and Midpines companies. They have one Type 1 fire engine, one Type 1 water tender and one Type 6 engine assigned to the company. They also have the Jaws of Life carried on the Type 6 engine.
