
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Temperature records were shattered across the Central Valley this week – not only breaking records for the daily high, but for the entire month.
The National Weather Service says Fresno, Merced, and Bakersfield all broke their all-time highs for the month of March on Wednesday. Fresno, however, went a step further and broke its Wednesday record (92 degrees) again, the NWS said on Thursday.
Hanford and Madera also broke records for the daily high.

The unseasonably warm weather is expected to continue through next week. NWS says people can expect temperatures 20 to 35 degrees above average.
