
OAKHURST, CA – Justin Bahr passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends. He lived a life defined by love for his family, service to his country, and a deep appreciation for life’s simple joys.
At just 17 years old, Justin married his love, Tammie, and enlisted in the United States Air Force. He proudly served at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis, New Mexico. In 1988, he later moved to Oakhurst, California, where he built a life centered around family, community, and the outdoors.
Justin loved spending summers at Bass Lake, boating, camping, and being surrounded by the mountains, trips to Pismo Beach, listening to classic bands, playing guitar, watching movies and sharing classic comedies and holiday favorites with his family — traditions that continue today.
Justin had a generous heart, his home was often open to friends or family who needed a place to stay, reflecting the kindness and support he showed throughout his life.
He is survived by his children: Tina Bahr, Tamra Bahr, Justin Bahr Jr., and Jeremy Chapman; his nine grandchildren: Tayler, Marrs, Mason, Molly, Jason, Jesse, Justine, Tyrlynn, and Sawyer; and his great-granddaughter, Oakley.
He is also survived by his sister Elizabeth Fulke; his brothers David Bahr, Matthew Bahr, Christopher Bahr, and Gregory Bahr; his parents Esther Bahr and August Frederick Bahr; his mother-in-law Barbara Fallin; and his brother-in-law Richard Sea.
Justin will be remembered for his humor, generosity, love of music and movies, and his deep devotion to family & God.
A celebration of life will be held March 28th at 2:00 PM at Sierra Pines Church.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
