PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Investigators are searching for the suspect involved in a stabbing that killed a man late Saturday morning in Porterville.

Porterville Police said around 11:20 a.m., they responded to a reported fight at Fallen Heroes Park on Chase Avenue, near Plano Street.

Officers reported finding a 51-year-old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators say the victim was involved in a fight with an unidentified male before he was stabbed.
