FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A man and a 12-year-old were arrested in a stabbing that injured two teenagers late Tuesday afternoon, the Fresno Police Department confirmed Wednesday.
Police responded to Shields and Valentine avenues just before 4:20 p.m., where they reported finding a victim of a stabbing and 15-year-old girl with lacerations to her face.
Responding officers said a 19-year-old man sustained a stab wound to his groin and upper torso.
Both victims were transported to a local hospital, where they are listed in stable condition.
Police reported their helicopter spotted a car leaving the parking lot and was stopped by officers. As a result, two suspects, a 12-year-old and a 38-year-old man, were ultimately arrested.
Fresno Police report the minor was booked into the Juvenile Justice Center and the man into the Fresno County Jail on charges related to the incident.
