Tulare Police searching for suspect after deadly shooting

TULARE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Tulare Police Department is searching for suspects following a shooting that happened near the Tulare Historical Museum on Thursday.

Officials say the Tulare Police Department dispatch received a report of two people suffering from gunshot wounds in the area of F Street and King Avenue at around 10:45 p.m. When officers arrived, officials say they found two men, one with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and one who was unresponsive.

Both men were taken to a nearby hospital, where one of the victims was pronounced dead the next day. Officials say the man’s identity is being withheld until next of kin have been notified.

The investigation is ongoing, and officials say anyone with information is encouraged to contact Detective J.C. Moreno at (559) 685-2300.
