FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office has issued an update to a missing person case involving Isabel Lucas Velasco of Coalinga.

On Sept. 13, the sheriff’s office began investigating the disappearance of Velasco, which occurred under suspicious circumstances.

On Monday morning, Oct. 6, officials announced they had seized two vehicles for evidence in relation to her disappearance.

The sheriff’s office says they are seeking the public’s assistance regarding any sightings or interactions with either of these two vehicles on the night of Sept. 12 and or the day of Sept. 14 in the areas of Coalinga and Avenal.

Detectives say they are specifically seeking witnesses in the area of Highway 198 west of Coalinga for both of these dates who may have seen either of these two vehicles or captured them on surveillance cameras.
